Made for the work beyond the appointment

Your talent deserves a business that supports it.

A slower book can leave you questioning everything. A full one can leave you exhausted. And when you own the salon, everybody seems to need an answer from you.

The Beauty Business Reframe gives you room to look at what is actually happening, choose what matters most, and make a plan you can use during an ordinary workweek.

Come as you are.

Whether you rent a station, work independently, employ a team, or own a shared space, there is a place for you here. We will be clear about the difference between running your own client business and leading a salon where other professionals work.

What you'll walk through

A look inside the workshop

Both sessions run about 90 minutes, live online, with time built in for your questions.

Part One, Build Your Book & Business

For your own client book

  • Where you stand: an honest look at your book, your schedule, and how your day actually runs.
  • Your clients, up close: the consultation, reading the room, and staying grounded through every appointment.
  • The numbers that matter: a simple way to check your pricing, and the one number to watch after any change.
  • Filling your book: what to do with open slots, and a low-pressure way to bring clients back.
  • Protecting your energy: why some pros last for years without burning out, and a short practice to ground before you start your day.
  • Your seven-day plan: leave with one clear priority and a plan you can actually follow this week.
  • Live Q&A.

Part Two, Lead Your Salon (owner series only)

For leading your salon

  • Leading people, not just a schedule: communication and culture for employee teams, independent renters, or both.
  • Owner capacity: what's yours to carry, and what isn't.
  • Filling schedules and stations: keeping your space full without pressure tactics.
  • Special guest Leann of Blessed Like A Boss on targeted marketing for salons and beauty businesses.
  • Live Q&A.

Both sessions are built around the C.O.D.E. Method™, so you're not just taking notes, you're leaving with something to act on. Ready to enroll

The method

Get clear. Make a plan. Practice it in real salon life.

The C.O.D.E. Method pairs the human side of this work with practical decisions about clients, money, communication, and the way you run your week.

Consciousness

Connection with yourself, your clients, and the people you work with. Being present enough to notice what is happening before you react.

Ownership

Taking accountability for your choices, communication, and responsibilities, and recognizing what is not yours to carry or control.

Design

Getting clear about what you want to create, then turning it into a plan and action.

Embodiment

Practicing this until it becomes part of your daily life: how you show up, communicate, protect your energy, and recover.

You can be excellent at your service and still need support with the business and people side. That part is learnable, too.

Wendy Jordan, with long blonde hair and a black top, smiling

I've been on more than one side of this business.

I've worked in the beauty industry since 2000. I've rented a booth, owned two salons, managed salons, and led a 13-location barbershop business with about 140 employees. I bring about 25 years of business experience to this work, along with business coaching and my training as a certified life coach. I'm also a published author. I know how much this industry asks of you beyond the service you provide.

My life coaching background shapes how I approach confidence, communication, and the human side of business. I created The Beauty Business Reframe to bring the business, leadership, and human pieces into the same conversation. We will look honestly at where you are and find a next step that fits the business you actually run.

Good to know

Is this for you?

Do I need to be a hairstylist?

No. These workshops are for licensed beauty and wellness professionals, including hair, barbering, nails, skin, lashes, brows, massage, and other wellness services. You will apply the business principles to your own services.

I rent a booth from a salon owner. Which option fits me?

Choose Part One for independent professionals. You run your own client business. The owner series is for people who own or operate the salon space.

I own a salon and rent stations to others. Which option fits me?

Choose the owner series. Part Two covers owner-level decisions and shared-space relationships while respecting the independence of your renters.

I work as an employee in a salon. Which option fits me?

Part One is built around running your own client book and business, so it may or may not fit an employee role. Choose "Help me choose the right option" on the form, tell me about your situation, and I will point you to the right fit.

When are the workshops?

Part One is Monday, October 19, 2026, at 11 a.m. Pacific. Part Two for salon owners is Monday, October 26, 2026, at 11 a.m. Pacific. Send a registration request and I will email you the checkout link when registration opens.

What happens after I register?

Paying through Stripe checkout confirms your seat right away, for either option. You'll get a receipt from Stripe, and a separate confirmation email with the Zoom link closer to the date.

Will there be a deeper course?

Yes. A self-paced Beauty Business Reframe course is in development, with different applications for independent professionals and salon owners. These workshops are the starting point.
